1st Engagment Photoshoot!!

Last week was the first time a couple has asked me to do photos for them. I was so excited for this opportunity because this was the first time I had done a serious photoshoot for someone to utilize. Other photos I had taken of friends or what have you were just for their personal social media accounts. Nothing to this magnitude. The pictures came our really good for a newbie and I have gained just the slightest bit of confidence from this interaction.

After shooting this adorable couple, I have gotten a little more confident in my work but obviously not enought...

Right now I am a summer intern with my universities athletic marketing team. One of my recent projects is to organize four different fall sport team's times for a photoshoot. The team's availability is scattered and the photographer we use only can work one of the photoshoots. My boss remembered that I am into photography and asked me to help the department. Thinking that she was completely joking, I casually agreed but she is serious. Asking me what like of lighting set up I have, my camera, etc. I was overwhelmed! At this point I just happen upon my great photos, I do not really know how to be a professional. I should not even have that comparison. If this was the sports world of basketball, and an NBA player was obviously a professional, I woudn't compare myself to a college player or even a high school star. I would be more like the freshman who has high hopes of being successful but still needs hours in the gym getting shots up, specific skill work, and weight room time as well. Anyways, my boss is still pushing me to do this and I am a sucker for helping needy people. Man will this be a test if I do it as well as probably being something I regret if I don't.
